Auto Bid Alert: ANTHONY F$#&ING JOHNSON!!!

Holy (every expletive ever)! No, Anthony Johnson is not the name of a school like NEC champ Robert Morris. He is, tonight, a Golden God who just put on an All-Universe performance for the Montana Grizzlies in the Big Sky Championship, sending his team dancing with a mind-bending 66-65 comeback win over the top seed Weber State Wildcats on Weber's home court in Ogden, Utah. I must admit I had paid almost no attention to this game from about the 12:00 mark of the first half until the 10:30 mark of the second half. Why? Because Weber State completely dominated the first half from the early going. Johnson scored 8 points for the Grizzlies in the first 20 minutes. Halftime score: Weber State leads 40-20. Ho-hum, kept my eyes on Cincy-Louisville and Iowa State-Texas.

Apparently Johnson found a phone booth in the visitor's locker room, because he came back in the 2nd half with a performance worthy of Superman. Singlehandedly reversing the course of the game, Johnson outscored the entire Weber State team 34-25 in the second half. He led an absolutely thrilling comeback while setting a Big Sky Tournament scoring record, and more importantly, placing the Grizzlies in the dance with an amazing late-game series of clutch shots, including the go-ahead bucket with 15 seconds remaining. Just check the play-by-play, as it makes remarkable reading in and of itself.

This, people, is why March is March. Damn.

UPDATE: If you have ESPN360, here's the replay. I may watch the second half again.
